There is Beauty All Around!

I had to include the photo of Eli shoveling his birthday breakfast into his mouth because that's what he's doing a lot of lately, shoveling food into his mouth. He is a wonderful young man, he is growing rapidly right now, I think he's grown at least 3 inches in the last few months. I can't say enough great things about him, he is so enjoyable to be with all the time. He is kind, thoughtful, helpful, brave, thrifty, and frugal...wait that sounds a lot like a scout. He does seem to be tiring of scouting, but I guess it's about time for that to happen, anyway. He LOVES football, more than anything else right now. Although, he hasn't been able to practice because of his foot laceration. And he was quite disappointed to have to postpone his birthday party because of his foot. But he has been to see the blessings in all of it, also. I love hearing him tell me why it is a blessing, he is such an awesome young man, able to see the good in all things!

On Friday our bee keepers harvested the first honey from our backyard!! I was so excited to taste it! It's very blonde (light colored) and they assured me that's from the citrus blossoms, it has a lovely mild flavor, that is delicious. We're looking forward to more in the fall.

The flowers are in full bloom right now...and I LOVE it!!! Every shape, every color, they are all amazing!
