Eli's Birthday Party!

"Friendship is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth it brings"... I thought it was just the right sentence to unscramble for Eli's scavenger hunt. Eli celebrated his 13th birthday today with his best buddies. We had a different kind of scavenger hunt than we've done in the past. I gave each team 20 close up photos of landmarks and when they found an Easter egg there they picked it up and found a word in it. Then, at the end they made the sentence. It was hard and fun.

Besides the scavenger hunt they swam, played on the trampoline, ate hamburgers and hot dogs, laughed, and hit the pinata. Hitting the pinata was an experience. It was pretty hot today and all the chocolate in the pinata melted...causing a chocolate shower as soon as there was a hole in the corner of the pinata. To say the least, no one took home candy from the pinata.

Then, Eli opened presents, the best gift was from Ry, it was .31 cents, a .25 off coupon for Pillsbury dough, and a Nemo stuffed toy. Eli got some great gifts from his buddies, too. It was a fun day!
