Saturday's Games

Well, all that dieting has paid off for Nathaniel. His coach nicely said Nathaniel's offensive line blows holes big enough for a locomotive to drive through. Nathaniel's really happy with the experience. His weight is fine so he doesn't have to worry about the weigh-in's before each game any more.

Eli was 6 pounds heavy on Friday night with no pads on. So, he had to crash diet on Friday and Saturday morning. But no food before his noon game and no water took its toll. He almost didn't feel good enough to play on Saturday. Ryon made him play a few plays in the second half of the game, but he was really nauseous. I felt really sorry for him. Now, his weight should be fine for the rest of the season. And I'm sure his performance will be enhanced by not having to diet!

Zachary is having fun, but he didn't get a chance to play on the defense or run the ball, so it wasn't that fun for him. His coaches still don't really know what he can do. He's playing on a team made up of cousins and brothers, he just doesn't happen to be from that family, so he's still getting discovered.
