Conference Sunday

I always love conference weekend. (It's 2 weekends a year when the prophet, apostles, and disciples of Jesus Christ speak to the world in 6 two hour sessions.) I feel inspired to be a better wife, mother, and daughter. I feel inspired to be a better citizen and community leader. I feel a great desire to pray and study with the goal of coming closer to my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I feel a huge debt of gratitude that I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for so many reasons, but mostly because it provides the tools necessary for me and mine to live a happy life. For reasons like teaching me to forgive quickly, love unconditionally, pray unceasingly, repent continually, be self sufficient, and rely on the Lord for all things. It makes life sweet and full.

Between Sunday's General Conference sessions our family took advantage of our city's free museums on the first Sunday of the month. It was fun to enjoy the art and activities together. After looking through the photos it was obvious that Savanah and Eli really are a lot taller than me, now. I'm so grateful that are great kids!
